RECORD ATTENDANCE
As one of the fastest-growing cultural industries in the
world, children's museums have expanded exponentially in
the past two decades. ACM's membership includes many
international institutions and at InterActivity welcomed
attendees from Australia, Austria, Bulgaria, Canada,
China, Curacao, Germany, Jordan, Mexico, Singapore,
South Korea, and the United Kingdom!
In addition, this record-attendance year brought in well
over 1,000 attendees. Top represented states included
California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Minnesota, Ohio,
Pennsylvania, Texas, Washington, and-of course-
Wisconsin!
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT SESSIONS
We offered six blocks of concurrent sessions covering
nine different thematic streams. This year introduced two
new themes: Mental Health & Well-Being and Community
Engagement. Diversity, equity, accessibility, and inclusion
(DEAI) are embedded in the sessions.

AN EVENING AT MADISON CHILDREN'S MUSEUM
Madison Children's Museum staff, board, and
volunteers invited ACM attendees to an evening of modern
Madisonian delights. Attendees got a taste of Madison
with local food and iconic cocktails, mocktails, and local
beers throughout the museum.
The evening event was an opportunity for guests to
explore our hosting partner's innovative and green spaces.
Guests unleashed their inner toddler in the Wildernest,
the early childhood space: donning a chipmunk vest,
sliding down a hollow log, and sending a flag to a friend
on a high-flying clothesline. On the second floor, the Art
Studio was open to make a souvenir to take home, scale the
Hodge Podge Mahal climber, and explore the wild inside
childrensmuseums.org | 9
