geocomposite
drainage systems'
main benefit for
the customer
is that it is a
complete system.
It is unique in that
it is two-sided
and completely wrapped in geotextile. It is
lightweight, requires less area to be disturbed
and is installed with less time, labor and
equipment than conventional stone and pipe
or other systems. Primary applications for the
Drainaway geocomposite drainage system
are site drainage, curtain drains, foundations,
retaining walls, slopes, erosion control, hill slip
repair, roadways and athletic fields.

The DrainGreat Co. LLC
DrainGreat
securely connects
to drainboard
without the use
of duct tape or
pins and does not
come loose even
during shotcrete
application. The
connection ring
is much bigger
than the 3-inch (7.6 cm) PVC pipe it drains
to, thus increasing the amount of flow that
can be handled. DrainGreats are quick and
easy to install and are made in the USA.
DrainGreats were developed for soil nail walls
by a foundation contractor who was looking
for a better way to connect a PVC pipe to a
drainboard. DrainGreats can also be used in
other applications where it is necessary to
transfer fluid from drainboard to a pipe.

SOUNDSAFE MASS LOADED VINYL
E Squared
Soundsafe mass
loaded vinyl
(MLV) is a type of
soundproofing
material that is
often used to
reduce noise
transmission on
construction and
drilling sites, providing compliance with noise
abatement ordinances. It is a dense, limp
material made from a combination of PVC
and other materials, such as barium sulfate
or calcium silicate. E Squared Soundsafe MLV
is effective at blocking and reducing noise
because of its high density and flexibility.
Sound waves have a difficult time passing
through the material, and any noise that
does manage to get through is absorbed by
the material's mass and damping properties.
MLV can be used in a variety of applications,
including home and commercial construction,
automotive soundproofing and industrial
noise control. Product features: available in
widths up to 116 inches (2.9 m) with standard
width 54 inches (1.4 m), ideal for large and
small projects, two levels of fire retardancy
(FR), ASTM E84 Class A fire rating compliant,
CAN ULC S102 fire rating compliant, reinforced
for greater strength, weight of 1 and 1.5
pounds (0.45 and 0.68 kg)., and 7102 Series
contains up to 75% recycled content.

GeoCAAB
The primary
benefits of
GeoCAAB are time
savings within
the geosynthetic
quality assurance/
quality control (QA/
QC) process while
minimizing risk
through the use of
a computer-aided
as-built software. By digitizing previously handwritten
data collection methods and integrating
automated quality checks, GeoCAAB is able
to save time in the field and streamline
data reporting for project submittals on the
backend. The primary markets for GeoCAAB are
geosynthetic installers and third-party on-site
certified quality auditors.
