Flooring and staging have become " must-have "
items in today's tented events.

one are the days of uneven lawns or particle board
panels being used as flooring within a tent environment.
Today, event flooring and staging options are
as well-designed and memorable as the events themselves.
From elaborate wood flooring to seamless vinyl
surfaces to innovative carpet designs, the number of
styles, colors and designs of flooring and staging are
simply awe-inspiring.

FloorEXP Inc., a creative flooring agency based in Santa
Fe Springs, Calif., specializing in custom and branded
carpet, turf and vinyl for the special events and retail
industries. He says the flooring options for events have
followed the same trends as interior design in the last
few years.
" While there is still a lot of carpet and turf used in
the industry, we're also seeing a lot more hard surfaces
being used including rolled vinyl, wood flooring, vinyl
plank flooring and printed vinyl, " Stoken says. The
team at FloorEXP also has seen a push for more events
to use ground protection flooring products when
building tents and events on top of grass.

right now, " Stoken says. " These products are
strong, durable and easy to install to allow you to drive
forklifts and heavy machinery into a field without tearing
up the grass. "
When it comes to flooring at events, Stoken says almost
anything can be done. " Most of the time the question
really comes down to how much budget is there
for that particular line item. "

more popular in various patterns, including wood
planks, stone or concrete, solid black or white, and
