Here are some of the standout statistics from the report: * A record high 37,178 architects reporting hours through Intern Development Program (IDP) or testing for Architect Registration Examination (ARE). * 107,581 licensed architects reported by U.S. licensing boards, 3% increase since 2011. * Average age of new architects: 33.3 in 2014, 2.7 years younger than 2008. * Racial and ethnic minorities: 41% of aspiring architect pool in 2014; 22% in 2007.
