The integration of alternative investments into portfolio construction represents a dynamic
evolution within wealth management. Driven by the aspiration to broaden access and
incorporate strategies traditionally reserved for large institutions and family offices, the
past fifteen years have witnessed a remarkable surge in the diversity of available options.
While the landscape has expanded significantly, it's noteworthy that some individuals
and families are yet to explore the potential benefits of private markets strategies. And
as discussed earlier, there may be a good reason for it-the choice may be influenced
by factors such as investor preferences or behavioral biases, emphasizing the
importance of aligning investments with individual needs.
