KRANNERT ART MUSEUM
This free fine art museum, located on the University of Illinois campus, provides thoughtprovoking
exhibits and events that seek to engage you through a global collection of
more than 11,000 works. As the second largest fine arts museum in Illinois, Krannert
Art Museum showcases permanent galleries, such as Encounters: The Arts of Africa,
to temporary exhibits focused on social justice, fake news and lying pictures, Latina
'Voces', and works by University faculty and students. Events held throughout the
year enhance your experience through lectures, live music, spoken word, and much
more. Their accessibility features include the Visual Description Project, making the
collections more accessible to people with low vision or blindness.

Sculptures, murals, and installations can be found throughout our parks, downtown
areas, and University of Illinois campus. From Walldog murals in Arcola celebrating the
village's storied history of the village to large-scale murals on Green St. running through
campustown, you'll get your dose of art as you wander the community. Sculptures and
installations add unexpected delights to the everyday environment in our parks and
public spaces.

Wandell Sculpture Garden
This impressive and ever-changing sculpture garden sits among 130 acres of prairie at
Meadowbrook Park in Urbana. Over two-dozen pieces arise from the landscape, adding
beauty and whimsy to the area. Wander three miles of paths through the park to see the
artwork.
Allerton Park & Retreat Center
This stunning estate in Monticello features dozens of European and Asian-inspired art
pieces that were commissioned by Robert Allerton following his many travels. From
the Fu Dog Garden to the iconic Sun Singer, these sculptures stand among the formal
gardens and hiking trails enhancing your experience among nature.
