VISITING CAMPUS
The University of Illinois campus is as vast as it is beautiful. Start your tour at the Alice Campbell Alumni Center where the Richmond
Family Welcome Gallery provides a gateway to campus. With exhibits that look into the past, present, and future of campus, this
interactive space provides a resource to explore the University. Their interactive trail map will help you on your way as you navigate the
campus and find the many must-see landmarks at the University of Illinois.
ARCHITECTURAL FEATS
The ever-evolving campus has a wide range of architectural styles and unique
campus buildings. As you wander the various quads, be on the lookout for these
buildings.
Foellinger Auditorium
Built in 1907, this landmark building is an example of Beaux Arts Classical
design. Spot the pineapple on the roof, a sign of hospitality. Stand on the seal
in front of this building and utter a few words to hear them echoed back to you.
Lincoln Hall
Found on the Main Quad, Lincoln Hall was built in 1911 in the Renaissance
Revival style. Students rub the nose of Lincoln's bust in the main foyer for good
luck prior to finals.
