Each season brings a new level of excitement to the
University of Illinois campus, as Fighting Illini athletes set out
for competition. Plan your year of thrilling Big Ten sports!
FALL
Memorial Stadium welcomes fans back for a nail-biting football season led
by Coach Bret Bielema. Plan your perfect tailgate or join in at Grange Grove
before cheering on the team to victory. Down the road, Fighting Illini Women's
Volleyball returns to Huff Hall, as tough of a setting as it gets in the Big Ten
with the loud Spike Squad leading the way.

WINTER
Basketball takes over at the State Farm Center,
offering intense matchups for both the men's
and women's teams. The electric atmosphere
and enthusiastic Orange Krush make it tough on
our opponents. Spend the cold months indoors
supporting all our student-athletes.

Innovative Spaces & Events
ENGINEERING OPEN HOUSE
Each spring, University of Illinois Engineering students
wow us with innovation and creativity through
engaging exhibits and interactive activities at this
student-led event. Don't miss the famous Tesla Coil
concert on the Engineering Quad.
VET MED OPEN HOUSE
At the state's only Veterinary School, you can learn
the latest in the field through demos and live animal
exhibits. Learn about the care for all animals, including
wildlife, horses, amphibians, and much more. Bonus:
learn how a cow digests their food with the popular
fistulated cow!
THE CHAMPAIGN-URBANA
COMMUNITY FAB LAB
With a mission for access to all to inspire creativity,
discovery, and dynamic learning, this maker space
provides the opportunity to use tools such as 2D and
3D printers, sewing machines, soldering irons, lasers,
and more as you create your masterpiece.
INNOVATION STUDIO
From the Center of Innovation in Teaching & Learning,
the Innovation Studio in the Armory allows you to get
hands-on for free with the latest technology, from
virtual reality to drones to 3D scanning and printing.
NCSA ADVANCED VISUALIZATION LAB
SPRING
Baseball and softball seasons begin, with an opportunity to sit outside and
enjoy the sun. Track and field, tennis, and golf add to the excitement of spring
as we wrap up another thrilling Big Ten season for the Fighting Illini.

The National Center for Supercomputing Applications
(NCSA) supports research in solving
society's most challenging problems.
Witness visual representations
of this scientific data through
award-winning 3D animations at
this campus spot. Tours must be
requested on NCSA's website.
MORROW PLOTS
Don't overlook the oldest
experimental agricultural field in
continuous use in the United States. First
developed in 1876, these plots are still used for
agricultural research today.
