Get Out on the Greens
Pack the clubs and spend a day on the course at our area golf clubs.
Here are a few spots that will give you a challenge.
ATKINS GOLF CLUB
Home to the Big Ten Champions Fighting Illini
Men's Golf team, the Atkins Golf Club has a
recently renovated course of over 190 acres.
Stop in the new restaurant on-site, Oskee's
Sports Pub.
IRONHORSE GOLF COURSE
This championship course in Tuscola has four
sets of tees, each with its challenges for your
game.
LAKE OF THE WOODS GOLF COURSE
As part of the forest preserve, this scenic
spot has an 18-hole regulation course and
a 9-hole par-3 course with four sets of tees.
Want a different experience? Try Foot Golf,
a hybrid between soccer and golf, on their
9-hole course.
WILLOW POND GOLF COURSE
Water hazards and sand traps will test your
accuracy at this picturesque course in
Rantoul. When you're done with your game,
stop in the 19th Hole for a delicious bite to eat.
UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS GOLF COURSE
Two 18-hole courses, the Orange & Blue,
can be found on this championship course
outside Willard Airport.
LEGENDS GOLF COURSE
This is a 9-hole Executive Course with a
driving range featuring bent grass, blue
grass, and covered hitting bays.
TIMBERLAKE GOLF COURSE
Just off Lake Shelbyville, you can tee off on
their 9- or 18-hole courses.
