1 40 ACRE WOOD CLEARING
Exxon Mobil contributed to the first phase of the upcoming
18-hole disc golf course in Baytown by helping clear the
initial path of woods to begin surveys and course layout.

2 NATURE CENTER PAVILION
6213 BAYWAY DR.
Exxon Mobil sponsored the construction of a new pavilion
at the Baytown Nature Center's Butterfly Garden to offer
sun protection for park-goers.
TRAPS MAINTENANCE RODEO
BAYTOWN PARKS AND RECREATION PLACES 2ND OVERALL IN LOCAL COMPETITION
Texas Recreation & Parks Society (TRAPS) East Region's maintenance rodeo is an annual tradition in November that
highlights the diverse skillset of parks maintenance crew members. The Baytown Parks Team placed second overall in
the competition and was the only team to complete the Trailer Pull Course without knocking down any cones or balls.
* Brian Hernandez won 1st place in the Zero Turn Course
* Minh Kotlarz won 2nd in the Nail Drive Competition
* Leonard Graham won 3rd in the Backpack Blower Course
* Jeremy Brasseaux won 3rd in the Backhoe Course
Baytown has the best of the best park's team who work for us every day!
Give them a big congratulations and wish them luck as they head to the state competition!
