THERAPEUTIC RECREATION
The Therapeutic Recreation unit is all about fun,
relaxation, and learning for folks with different abilities.
We're all about boosting social skills, building community
spirit, and taking care of both your heart and body
through a wide range of cool activities. You'll find us at
the Windy Hill Community Center, offering a warm
welcome to anyone with developmental, learning,
physical, or hearing/speech differences, as well as ADHD
and Autism Spectrum Disorders.
THERAPEUTIC RECREATION SERVICES (TRS)
HIP HOP/ JAZZ DANCE CLASS (BEGINNER) | Ages 16+
Looking to learn a few new moves? Join us for our beginner hip hop
dance class on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month from 1-2 pm.
Our spring class dates are as follows: March 13 & 27, April 10 & 24, and
May 08 & 22.

SOCCER | Ages 6-12
The Cobb Parks Therapeutic Recreation and Kidokinetics programs
have teamed up to offer a six-week soccer class. This noncompetitive
program is designed to teach foundational skills, balance,
agility, kicking, running, and the rules of the game. The class is a
fantastic opportunity for children to enhance their gross motor skills
while enjoying a safe, supportive atmosphere. Classes take place
every Tuesday at the Terrell Mill Soccer Fields.

KICKBACK CLUB | Ages 10-16
Introducing the TRS Kickback Club - a program tailored to children
aged 10-16 with disabilities. The aim of this program is to provide a fun,
interactive platform for young individuals to meet new people and form
friendships with like-minded peers. Engaging in active gameplay and
group discussions, children will develop essential communication and
social skills while enjoying themselves.
