COBB COUNTY PARKS SUMMER 2024 NATURAL RESOURCES EDUCATION & PROGRAMS Register for nature programs Remember the good ol' days where you were just having fun as a kid? What about playing jacks and jump roping? Homeschool children had a blast playing tons of games that millennials and baby boomers enjoyed growing up, led by our Natural Resources unit! Our Natural Resources Unit has many programs that are suitable to people of all ages. Be sure to check out our summer outdoor programs for you and your family to enjoy. CONNECT WITH COBB PARKS NATURE The Cherokee Garden at Green Meadows and Cobb Parks Natural Resource Unit hosted a great group of 4th graders from Power Ferry Elementary School. They had an exciting day at our wonderful park. They had a Cherokee cultural lesson, tours of the Cherokee Garden and the Bullard House. They also enjoyed having a picnic lunch on the lawn before returning to school. It is always a pleasure to host Cobb County students at Green Meadows!
