Distek is a leading manufacturer of laboratory testing
instruments for the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry
for over 45 years, as well as an experienced provider of validation
and qualifi cation services.
Our mission is to design, manufacture, sell and support stateof-the-art
laboratory testing equipment that performs fl awlessly
and meets our customer's needs and expectations. It is our

COMPANY BACKGROUND
Gerald Brinker started Distek from his garage in 1976 as a
modest business that manufactured dissolution equipment.
Over the next four decades, Distek's business has expanded to
provide instruments for tests performed in pharmaceutical and
bioprocessing laboratories off ering innovation and support to
companies on a global scale. Distek's staff and operations have
grown signifi cantly in the area of bioprocessing, now off ering
ISO Class 7 Cleanroom for assembly of single-use technologies.

Distek's core market includes brand name, generic and biosimilar
drug manufacturers, CRO's, CMO's, cultured foods, Nutraceuticals,
food & fl avors, agriculture, beverage, government agencies and
universities.
PRODUCTS, SERVICES & CAPABILITIES
Distek engineers highly innovative, technically modern and
user-friendly instruments that provide many innovative features
to customers, worldwide.
These include: water bath and
bathless dissolution, media preparation (heating, degassing
and dispensing), in-situ fi ber optic UV, bathless tablet
disintegration, sample preparation and dissolution autosampling.
Distek's
bioprocessing
portfolio includes the BIOne singleuse
bioreactor for cell culture
applications as well as the BIOne
1250, an innovative bioreactor
control system for both mammalian
and microbial models.
Distek holds several
instrumentation and accessory patents and has been
ISO
certifi ed
since
2002,
which
promotes
consistent
service and continuous self-improvement with a focus on
customer satisfaction. This successful certifi cation illustrates
