COMPANY DESCRIPTION
FUJIFILM Wako Chemicals U.S.A. Corporation is a manufacturer
and global distributor of endotoxin detection products used
in the quality control testing of injectable pharmaceuticals,
medical devices, and sterile water. The FUJIFILM Wako line of
reagents offers a wide variety of options to perform each of
the three endotoxin detection assays: the gel clot assay, the
kinetic turbidimetric assay (KTA) and the kinetic chromogenic
assay (KCA), in addition to both Peptidoglycan and Beta Glucan
testing.
Their flagship series of FDA-licensed LAL reagents,
known as PYROSTAR™ ES-F, provides a simple, accurate
platform for the detection of bacterial endotoxin. This
endotoxin-specific LAL reagent is accompanied by a suite of
complementary consumables, instrumentation, software,
and specialty products to offer a complete solution for your
endotoxin testing needs.
COMPANY BACKGROUND
After establishing a sales office in Dallas, Texas, in 1981,
FUJIFILM Wako grew significantly in the U.S. and in 1989,
relocated their corporate headquarters and manufacturing
facility to Richmond, Virginia. In 2012, they culminated
three decades of research and development to launch the
PYROSTAR™ ES-F series into the global markets.

conducted. In addition, FUJIFILM Wako has an extensive
distribution network in 66 countries around the world.
PRODUCTS & SERVICES
The FUJIFILM Wako portfolio of products and services includes
endotoxin-specific reagents to conduct the gel-clot, kinetic
turbidimetric and kinetic chromogenic methodologies;
a synthetic 3-factor LAL reagent made by recombinant
technology which closely mimics the cascade pathway of
traditional LAL; peptidoglycan and β-glucan specific SLP
reagent that allows detection of both gram-positive bacteria
and fungi; endotoxin analysis systems that support automation
of methodologies; endotoxin test related consumables such
as test tubes, microplates, caps, and pipette tips; endotoxin
test related specialty items such as buffers, extraction solution,
LPS and control standard endotoxin; and testing services via
our contracted partner in the UK, Cotton-Mouton Diagnostics,
who offers a wide range of testing utilizing FUJIFILM Wako
reagents.
