Project Production System

SMS Sterilization Wraps
The global scarcity of SMS based sterilization wraps (Spunbond-Meltblown-Spunbond) has severely impacted
many pharmaceutical and biotech manufacturing operations worldwide. The COVID-19 pandemic caused a huge
demand for personal protective equipment (PPE) and facemasks, which led to a worldwide shortage of, and a massive
increase in the cost of the SMS raw material. Most SMS manufacturers limited the amounts that could be offered to
customers, a term that became commonly known as " allocation " , to ensure they could supply as many of their most
important customers as possible, leaving others stuck, without the validated product they required, to operate.
Keystone Cleanroom Products, a New Jersey, a USA company with ISO certified cleanroom production facilities,
recognized this and decided to address this market shortage by launching its own version of SMS sterilization wraps
in two weights, Heavy Duty and Super Duty. Keystone offers all of the commonly used sizes, plus a broad range of
new, smaller sizes, to eliminate the end user's need to cut the wraps " in-house " .

Tablet Coater for Film and Sugar Coating
The Sepion coater allows for closed material handling during filling, sampling and emptying. This makes the machine
suited for the coating of tablets with highly potent active ingredients, as well as for sugar coating. The optimized
