Tamika Marciniec
During a recent nursing award ceremony
Kieran Kays
After 21 years of service, Kieran Kays, vice
president of Professional Services and Risk
Management at New London Hospital, is
retiring. For the past year, Kays also served
in a dual role as the interim lead of Human
Resources. Her willingness to step up in
times of need are just one of the qualities
she instilled during her tenure at NLH.
at Cheshire Medical Center, Tamika
Marciniec, BSN, RN, received a Chief Nursing
Officer (CNO) Coin, which recognizes nurses
who go above and beyond. Marciniec
earned her BSN degree and entered
nursing during the COVID-19 pandemic.
She was recognized for her outstanding
BSN capstone project outlining a nurse
mentoring program that she presented to
key stakeholders at Cheshire.

Briana White, manager
Catie Mylott
After working in Primary Care as a
registered medical assistant for almost five
years at Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital,
Catie Mylott has passed her NCLEX
(National Council Licensure Examination)
and is now an LPN.
Melissa Eames
Melissa Eames, PA, who works in
general surgery at Dartmouth Hitchcock
Clinics Nashua, was recently named a
Preceptor of the Year by the Massachusetts
College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.
The Preceptor of the Year Awards are
given annually to individuals who have
demonstrated excellence in teaching and
a commitment to students and physician
assistant education.

Management for Visiting Nurse
and Hospice for VT/NH, was
instrumental in setting up a
nursing " hackathon, " a Shark Tanktype
of competition for nurses for
the most innovative ideas. The
hackathon was designed to bring
design thinking, an approach used
for creative problem-solving, and
nursing innovation experts to
nurses across the system to spark
a culture of innovation.
