Alisha Robinson and
Charles R. Thomas, Jr., MD,
honored at annual celebration of
Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Alisha Robinson, BSHCM, human resources business
partner and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion program
coordinator at Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital,
received the Community Champion Award, and Charles
R. Thomas, Jr., MD, professor of medicine and chief of
radiation oncology at Dartmouth Cancer Center, received
the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Legacy Award, presented by
Geisel School of Medicine's Office of Diversity, Inclusion,
and Community Engagement (DICE). The awards were
presented as part of a celebration of the legacy of Rev.
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. during DICE's annual " I AM THE
DREAM: Past, Present and Future " awards luncheon. The
event was an opportunity to recognize members of the
Geisel community who have demonstrated the ideals,
courage, compassion, dignity, humility and service that
exemplified King's character and empowered his leadership.
