AVMAX AVIATION SERVICES INC. is a turnkey operation
in the world of aeronautics. Starting as one service
in the '70s, the company has expanded over almost 50
years, both in services offered and geographically.
Headquartered in Calgary, Avmax has facilities and operations
in multiple countries, including in the United
States and Africa. Their customers comprise just under
a hundred airlines and other companies. Canadian
examples include Air Canada, WestJet and Canada National
Defence.

COMPANY OFFERS FULL SUITE OF
SERVICES FOR AIRCRAFT NEEDS
Beginning as Western Avionics in 1976, the company
started with a specialization for working on the electronics
systems used on aircraft. Over the decades, they expanded
their offerings to include maintenance, repair and
overhaul, aircraft leasing, engineering, painting and more.
" Within the Avmax umbrella, we can service a regional
aircraft nose to tail, " says Avmax's Director of Business
Intelligence Tara Knapp. " When companies come in for a
specific service, we're very likely able to solve any problems
by just reaching out to another department or division
under the umbrella. "
Knapp says this expansion is the natural result of working
to serve the customers as completely and effectively
as possible.
