Jersey Canada is also launching a youth conference, an educational program entitled Jersey—The Next Generation. Presentations for the 20th National Young Jersey Achiever awards, and awards for individuals who have promoted the Jersey breed and agriculture in Canada, will also take place during the meeting. Celebrating Jersey Canada’s highest membership since 1968 will be a key theme at the meeting, says Jersey Canada national president Janna Rémond. The new RBC 4-H Rural-Urban Youth Outreach Program is available to anyone interested in joining 4-H. It provides a grant for clubs or organizations that would like to start a new 4-H club in their communities.
