DFCPROMOTION By Geneviève Fontaine Focus on women New ad ensures women are properly informed on nutrition, health and physical activity D FC’s dietitians regularly contribute material to various magazines across Canada, informing consumers of dairy products’ benefits. The It’s Your Health page, a media tool DFC uses to reach out to women aged 25 to 54 with children, is one such resource. Published four times a year in Chatelaine (English and French), Coup de pouce, and Canadian Living magazines, It’s Your Health offers readers a variety of simple recipes using milk, yogurt or cheese and practical health-related tips. The March ad, published during Nutrition Month, addresses physical activity and eating. It presents dairy products as ideal snacks for hydration and as a good recovery after intense physical activity. It also reminds and encourages women to be active and maintain their healthy weight. Cinema ads focus on getting teens to drink more milk D uring March, DFC is releasing a new promotion aimed at getting teens to drink more milk by motivating them with funky, cool cinema ads. The promotion offers participants a chance to win a trip for four to Hollywood’s premiere of the highly anticipated sequel Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. The grand prize winner and friends will attend the screening, walk the red carpet and get a personal Paramount Studios tour. Secondary prize winners will get private movie screenings for themselves and 30 of their friends, snacks, DVDs of the original Transformers movie and more.
