The contest encourages consumers to buy cheese bearing the 100% Canadian Milk symbol for a chance to enter a draw to win one of 50 gourmet cheese kits valued at M $450. It is featured in more than 1,200 grocery stores across Ontario, the Maritimes and Western Canada. DFC promoted the contest in its All You Need is Cheese magazine’s holiday edition and through 24 | January 2010 | MilkPRODUCER in-store media. Throughout November and December, DFC representatives were in various grocery stores handing out cheese samples made from 100% Canadian Milk. They also encouraged consumers to enter the contest, which ends late January.
