DFCPROMOTION By Geneviève Fontaine Cream of the crop Getting women to cook with more cream is the focus of DFC’s new campaign rom February to December, women aged 25 to 54 will be the focus of DFC’s new cream campaign. Several recipes have been created to get more women cooking with 10 per cent and 18 per cent cream. Starting in February, these recipes will appear on Canadian Living, Chatelaine, FoodTV, All Recipes and Recipezaar websites, and on Yahoo! and MSN. As well, recipes will be published in the March and April editions of Canadian Living and Chatelaine. Consumers will also be encouraged to visit www.anydaymagic.ca, where they will have a chance to win prizes all year long. A public relations campaign promoting Real Cream recipes will take place in Ontario and the Maritimes in February. Emily Richards, renowned chef and author of several cookbooks, is the campaign spokesperson. She will make several media appearances to demonstrate easy meal ideas using Real Cream. Event attracts best in Ontario cheese FC will be presenting a cheese station at the Cuvée Gala on Feb. 19, a renowned red carpet event where local chefs and several Ontario wineries will cater to more than 700 guests. The event is often referred to as the Oscars of the Ontario wine industry. Cheeses offered for tasting will include Asiago from Thornloe Cheese, five-year-old organic cheddar from BioBio/Gattuso Organic Foods, and Rosenborg from Arla Foods Inc.
