DFC launches innovative public relations initiative to promote new Recharge Radio application

ringing more visibility to the new Recharge Radio mobile application was the aim of DFC’s special event at the Scotiabank Blue Nose Marathon in Halifax, N.S. last month. More than 80 DFC representatives gathered around DFC’s mascot, Moooky, moments before the marathon started and danced in a flash-mob style to promote the app and chocolate milk as a sports recovery beverage. The event caught the attention of hundreds of runners and their supporters who cheered on as Moooky danced to the beat. DFC continued to promote the event and highlight chocolate milk’s benefits through social media. It also released a video of the flash-mob activity to a newswire service.
