Become a Supporter
of DiversifySTEM
DiversifySTEM microlessons are developed by
OSPE in collaboration with industry partners and
subject matter experts. It was originally funded by
Status of Women Canada, now known as Women
and Gender Equality Canada (WAGE). The project's
original focus was on the issues faced by women in
engineering, raising employers' awareness, and
providing them with resources and actionable tips
to help women enter and then thrive in the
engineering profession.
Now we're building on this model and broadening
our scope. One of OSPE's values states, " We
believe the engineering profession must become
more equitable, diverse and inclusive in order to
thrive. " While supporting women in our industry is
still a priority, we recognize that there are other
marginalized groups and insufficiently addressed
issues that we need to bring to conversation. So,
you can expect to see more variety in this initiative
as we continually monitor the landscape
