Taking flight on the Canada 150 Global Odyssey (C150GO) - Ottawa

On July 1, 2017, Bob Dengler, P.Eng., his son Steven Dengler and helicopter ace Rob 'Dugal' McDuff will take to the skies in a
Bell 429 helicopter, kicking off a 38,500-kilometre journey around the world. The Canada 150 Global Odyssey (C150GO) will
be the first Canadian circumnavigation of the globe by helicopter! The C150GO team will visit 14 countries and make over 100
planned stops, including one in every provincial and territorial capital in Canada.
Join us at the Canada Aviation and Space Museum to network, learn about the unique features of the Bell 429 helicopter and
find out more about the C150GO's mission to raise awareness about Canadian engineering accomplishments and innovation.
Hors d'oeuvres and cash bar to follow.
*A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Ontario Professional Engineers Foundation for Education.

support services exist for EITs in order to successfully
obtain their P.Eng. licence. The evening will also

Are you an engineering intern, a professional engineer, a
certified technician, a certified engineering technologist or
an applied science technologist?
Then this Engineering Employment Event (E3) is just for
you! The Ontario Society of Professional Engineers (OSPE)
and the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering
Technicians and Technologists (OACETT) have partnered
to present an E3 that will connect you with employers.
This event welcomes recent graduates and individuals with
EIT, P.Eng., C.E.T., C.Tech. and A.Sc.T designations.
Engineering Employment Events are designed to bring
together top notch engineering employers and qualified
job seekers. You will be able to meet hiring employers, view
their organization's job ads and connect with employers
about their current opportunities.

This Retirement Planning workshop will first describe and
compare the various tax-sheltered investments such as
registered accounts and insurance strategies. It will discuss the
most recent Federal tax and how they affect your savings and
the taxation of your investments depending on your income
level. It will show how, similarly to engineering projects,
building a sustainable retirement plan must follow a threestep process: 1. The Foundation Phase, 2. The Construction
Phase, and 3. The Maintenance Phase. It will expand on how
the three-step process establishes a sustainable retirement plan
that integrates financial objectives, risk appetite, life goals,
family situation, and financial circumstances. Finally, there
will be a discussion on estate planning and how it fits into a
retirement plan.
