C150GO journey from the Denglers themselves. The evening

the Bell 429 helicopter, the C150GO's planned site visits, and the
Denglers' mission to raise awareness about Canadian engineering

Not only will the C150GO team be visiting Canadian engineering
marvels, they will also be travelling inside of one. The Bell 429
is the most modern light twin helicopter on the market today,
and is referred to as a "clean sheet design". This means that while
most helicopters in its category are iterations of older models,
the 429 was designed from scratch by a conceptual design team
of about 20 engineers from the Bell Helicopter Textron Inc.
plants in Mirabel, Quebec and Fort Worth, Texas. Once the
preliminary design was established, a team of approximately
300 engineers carried out the detailed design, build, initial flight
testing, development and certification testing of the Bell 429 in
Mirabel.
The Bell 429 was designed to meet the latest and most
stringent safety regulations from Transport Canada, the Federal
Aviation Administration (FAA) and the European Aviation
Safety Agency (EASA). All of the helicopter's advanced
technology and state-of-the-art features were incorporated from
its initial development, meaning the Bell 429 has always been
ahead of its time and at the forefront of its competitors. The 429
is used in diverse business sectors and organizations around the
