The Fostered Foundation
Fostered Foundation is a
charitable organization that will
aim to enhance the lives of
America's most vulnerable
children: those in foster care or
any underprivileged community in
America today. Founder/President
Joshua Wilson also known as 'Kewl
Cali' knows this community well.
Dealing with the hardships of a
drug addicted father and
homelessness, he was taken
from his home at the age of 11.
Growing up in the system, he
faced many challenges as many
do, he shares, " I remember
going to court feeling like a was
on trial for a crime I didn't
commit. At times I would feel like
I was just cattle, getting move
here, pushed there. I can't
change the system, but I can
bring hope and support to the
lives impacted by it. We plan to
raise a Million dollars and
Donate a million dollars. "
Creating a community of
empowerment for youth of all
colors, beliefs, and backgrounds
experiencing the failures of the
child welfare system.
Through Annual Christmas
Bike Drives, Music and Art
Development programs
with financial literacy focus
points. Fostered
Foundation is changing the
approach and connecting
to the youth! Building
relationships with the likes
of companies such as WalMart,
Derek Automotive to
name a couple. Fostered
Foundation is able
implement the technology
based courses having a
wide outreach impacting
communities across the
United States for many
years to come.
