The past year and a half has brought
unprecedented challenges. Thankfully,
the deep foundations industry and
DFI's membership adapted and thrived
- and continued to support the Trust
by donating over $250,000 in 2020.

relied upon more and more to deliver
innovative solutions to economically
and efficiently meet these needs. A

project managers, contractors and
academics who are urgently needed to

In return, the Educational Trust is
proud to have maintained its mission by
providing consistent, strong financial
support to 70 universities and more
than 400 students since inception. Last
year, the Trust awarded over $150,000 in
scholarships. The report presents the
wide-reaching and positive impact the
Trust is having on the deep foundations
industry. It showcases our commitment
to improve the world and our industry
by supporting these leaders of tomorrow
and their educational institutions - today.
These students are our future. New
opportunities are on the horizon with
the prioritization of transportation and
technology infrastructure, green and
support the Trust. From attending Trust
fundraisers and Women in Deep
Foundations events to supporting
student programs and being actively
involved in DFI. You can also make an
individual or corporate donation, or
create a lasting legacy by funding a
scholarship in honor of a company or
industry leader.
After a difficult time, the future is
looking brighter. Let's share our
optimism and opportunities with the
next generation of deep foundations
professionals.
Tee Up for a Good Cause
The ACE Mentor Program of New Jersey
and the DFI Educational Trust are
hosting their 10th annual golf outing
fundraiser at Royce Brook Golf Club on
August 12. Proceeds from the outing will
fund scholarships for students studying
toward careers in the deep foundations,
architecture, engineering and construction
industries. Great networking
opportunities, including a New Golfers
Clinic, Silent Auction of sports memorabilia,
themed gift baskets and more will
all be part of the fun! Register to attend or
sponsor at www.dfitrust.org.
The DFI Educational Trust is also
hosting its Annual California Golf
Outing fundraiser at the Dublin Ranch
Golf Course on September 20. Proceeds
from the outing fund scholarships for
students studying toward careers in the
deep foundations, engineering and
construction industries.
