Sebastian Lobo-Guerrero, Ph.D., P.E., is a
geotechnical project manager/AAP laboratory
manager at American Geotechnical and
Environmental Services (A.G.E.S.). He has more
than 19 years of experience in geotechnical
engineering, specializing in the design of
deep/shallow foundations, earth retaining
structures and landslide stabilization. He
previously chaired the
American Society of Civil
Engineers (ASCE) GeoInstitute Pittsburgh and
served on the board for the
society's Pittsburgh chapter.
Besides serving as conference chair for DFI45,
Lobo-Guerrero currently is a
member of DFI's Anchored
Earth Retention Committee.
