has announced a new strategy for sales and
distribution of well-drilling products in the
U.S. Epiroc will move towards a dealerand partner-based strategy over the
remainder of 2020. The products include
drilling rigs for water well and oil and gas
segments, manufactured by Epiroc Drilling
Solutions. Epiroc will look to develop
relationships with qualified, strategic
partners nationally in the well-drilling

for capital equipment, parts and service,

hospital or physicians' offices about the
potential for donating them in response to
healthcare worker shortages of masks while
treating COVID-19 disease. Construction
companies are also encouraged to forgo
ordering additional masks of this type when

are uncertain of the condition of donated
masks, and to consider local legal counsel if
you have specific issues or concerns.

The National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO) and the
National Wireless Safety Alliance (NWSA)
recently announced a Telecommunications
Tower Rigger Level I (TTR-I) Certification Program that specifically addresses
those with responsibility for handling and
moving loads on antenna-supporting structures. To become TTR-I certified, a candidate must pass the new TTR-I written exam
as well as the current NCCCO Rigger Level I
practical exam within 12 months. Testing
fees are $170 for the written and $100 for

BAUER Equipment America, the U.S.
subsidiary of BAUER Maschinen Group,
presented several new developments this
spring at ConExpo-Con/Agg.
A newly developed drilling tool of the
BAUER BlueLine series was showcased at
the BG 15 H for the first time: the BlueLine
Drilling Bucket Type KBF-K with a
diameter of 900 mm (35 in), a working
length of 1,750 mm (69 in) and a total
length of 2,300 mm (91 in). This standardized, price-optimized drilling tool
series that is available at short notice is
perfectly suited for use in very dense sand
and gravel, as well as in soft to medium
hard rock.
The exhibited RG 19 T BS 65 RS from
RTG Rammtechnik also received a lot of
attention for its new adjustable auxiliary
winch at the mast head, the remote control
for all machine functions (which makes
