including demolition, excavation, SOE
installation, drilled shaft installations,
dewatering, pressure slabs, topping
slabs and flood wall construction.
Additionally, E.E. Cruz and Underpinning
utilized differing drilling
methods, including a Hains Drill attachment
on a Manitowoc 888, for deep rock
socket drilling, and conventional Kelly
bar drilling using a Bauer BG 28 and
BG 40; also used was a Roto-Loc underreamer
air hammer drilling with
reverse circulation drill string on a
Liebherr LB 36.

civil construction experience in both horizontal
and vertical construction markets. Gomes
specializes in geotechnical and structural
engineering, and has executed over $190 million
of work in the New York City metropolitan area.
Michael Quasarano, P.E., a project manager
at E.E. Cruz & Company retains over 20 years of
experience in heavy civil engineering and construction.
Nationally published, he possesses
intimate knowledge and a solid background in a
wide array of deep and shallow foundation construction
