On April 27-28, 2022, Helical Pile World (HPW) and DFI are cohosting
the second Helical Piles-Tiebacks-Anchors Tradeshow
and Educational Seminar. The event, in Bonner Springs,
Kansas, includes a structured technical education program,
indoor and outdoor equipment exhibition, and live installation
demonstrations that highlight the products, resources and
expertise used to design, install, and test helical pile and
anchor elements for structural support and earth retention
applications. Abstracts for indoor presentations and outdoor
demonstrations are being accepted until November 19.

The International Conference on Deep Foundations and
Ground Improvement is being held May 18-20, 2022, at The
Technical University of Berlin. The theme is Smart Construction
for the Future, with presentations that demonstrate how
state-of-the-art technologies and approaches provide highvalue,
sustainable and resilient geotechnical solutions for
complex projects. The conference highlights smart processes
and advancements in digitalization, deep foundation and ground
improvement design and construction, project execution,
resiliency, risk mitigation, and monitoring and testing.

Smart Construction for the Future
The 4th International Symposium on Frontiers in Offshore
Geotechnics (ISFOG) has been rescheduled to take place
August 28-31, 2022. The event is managed by the Geo-Institute
and Deep Foundations Institute, held under the auspices of the
ISSMGE Technical Committee 209 on Offshore Geotechnics.
ISFOG is a specialist forum for practitioners and academics to
share solutions and new ideas that address the dynamic
challenges of working in offshore design and installation. The
symposium will highlight emerging technologies in data
science and emphasize the recent surge in offshore
renewables development, both in the United States and
globally. Other growing areas of interest include performancebased
design and addressing the challenges of an aging
offshore infrastructure, whether it be extending the operating
life of these structures or solving the challenges and
opportunities related to their decommissioning.
Proceedings are available ahead of the event in Austin,
Texas. When you register for ISFOG, the $150 proceedings fee
will be deducted from your conference registration.

DFI, in partnership with ADSC, is hosting SuperPile '22, June
15-17, 2022, at the Hilton St. Louis at the Ballpark in Missouri.
This three-day event includes presentations on the latest
developments in augered cast-in-place/drilled displacement
piles, drilled shafts, driven piles, ground improvement, helical
piles and tiebacks, marine foundations, micropiles, seismic
and lateral loads, and testing and evaluation of foundation
systems. Abstracts are due September 24, 2021.
