Board, where she will serve as
a cultivation expert and work
on the research and market
participation subcommittees.
In 2010, Brown managed a
medical marijuana dispensary
and cultivation facility in Northern
California before returning
to Massachusetts, where she
founded Green Path Training, a
compliance training business for
vendors, in 2015.
Brown worked on MassachuAdvocate,
Gorman Kirk will be
responsible for monitoring the
palliative use of marijuana and
the medical cannabis system
and will advocate for the interests
of qualifying patients and
caregivers.

joins Jushi after almost six years
with Illinois-based Cresco Labs,
where he was executive vice

Michael Blue resigned from the
board and Alan Pickerill was
appointed chair.

Connecticut Selects
Cannabis Ombudsperson
Connecticut officials appointed
Erin Gorman Kirk of Norwalk
as the state's first cannabis
ombudsperson. She is the
founder of Cannabis Government
Strategies and president of The
Jamison Group, a consulting firm.
The Office of the Cannabis
Ombudsperson was established
July 1, 2023, as an independent
state agency by the General
Assembly and receives administrative
support from the Office
of the Healthcare Advocate.
According to a news release
from the Office of the Healthcare
industry, West spent more than
nine years in various executive
posts with Lifeway Foods and was
a regional and district manager
with Starbucks Coffee Co., where
he spent nearly eight years.
Leafly Adds Cannabis
Veterans to Board
Leafly Holdings, a leading online
resource for cannabis consumers,
appointed Jeffrey Monat and
Andres Nannetti to its board of
directors.
Monat has been an investor in
cannabis cultivation and ancillary
companies since 2013 and, for
the past seven years, has been
a senior partner with Merida
Capital Holdings. Monat started
his financial services career in
2000 as an analyst with Goldman
Sachs and has served on
the boards of Lowell Farms and
marijuana testing lab Steep Hill.
Nannetti started his finance
career as a Latin America market
analyst with JP Morgan before
leading several businesses
Nevada Trade Group
Appoints Interim Director
The Las Vegas-based Chamber
of Cannabis, an industry
trade group, appointed Dani
Baranowski as interim executive
director.
Baranowski co-founded the
chamber four years ago. In January
2023, she co-founded The
Grow Up Co-Op, a business that
represents cannabis brands in
retail outlets and consumption
lounges. Baranowski has held
sales and marketing positions at
various cannabis businesses since
2019, including DaVinci Vaporizer,
Bloom Farms, State Flower Confections
and City Trees.

Crosley as
chief marketing
officer and
investment
banker. In this
dual capacity, Crosley will lead
the firm's marketing efforts
while also contributing her
expertise to the investment

six years. She also worked at
