The state expects to issue as many as 45 licenses to owners of marijuana stores and 20 permits to stand-alone lounges. Retailers that meet the requirements are expected to receive a state license. Under the new regulations enacted by the state's Cannabis Control Board (CCB), medical marijuana patients can grow up to six plants and caregivers as many as 12 plants for a maximum of four patients. The CCB also announced amendments to its hemp program, including the creation of a new license type for approved farmers to sell hemp flower and an increase in the maximum cannabinoid allowance per serving to 100 milligrams.
