Origin Acoustics Goes Commercial
with PRO Speakers & Amps
The audio company caters to
resimercial projects by releasing
in-ceiling, surface mount, and pendant
speakers, plus a line of full-matrix
DSP-enabled amplifi ers.

ORIGIN ACOUSTICS has
debuted Origin PRO, a new
line of commercial-grade
speakers and amplifi ers
derived from the company's
success in the residential
market, taking the same
feature-rich approach and
design aesthetic to the
commercial market.
Originally announced
back in August 2023, a
complete product line of
high-performance Origin
PRO speakers is now available
in three versatile form
factors - in-ceiling, surface
mount, and pendants -
in three sizes, 5-, 6-, and
8-inch, as well as an 8-inch
subwoofer for in-ceiling and
pendant options.
All Origin PRO models,
available now, include certifi
cations required by the
commercial market.
Additionally, Origin PRO
recently launched is launching
a new line of full-matrix
DSP-enabled amplifi ers
designed for commercial projects

bility, " the company states.
The amplifi ers allow for
2- and 4-channel options
with power output ranging
from 60 watt - 750-watts
per channel, and power
low-impedance and 70volt/
100-volt speakers.
The Origin PRO amplifi ers
will be available in 2U and 1U
half-rack versions. According
to the company, 2U full-rack
amplifi ers deliver reliable
total system power of 1,000
watts, 1,500 watts, 2,000
watts and 3,000 watts.
The 1U ultra-compact,
half-rack amplifi ers off er a
space-saving solution when
high-output is needed in
challenging installations with
total system power ranging
from 125 watts-500 watts.
Automatic power sharing
technology in the 60 watts
and 125 watts amplifi ers
proportionally distributes
power in both Lo-Z and
Hi-Z and provides fl exibility
in system confi guration, the
manufacturer says.

audio protocol will be
available for large-scale,
professional projects that
require low latency and system-wide
synchronization,
such as concert venues,
open-air shopping malls and
houses of worship.

types into one that
is managed with software,
allowing for creative design
fl exibility and expandability.
Origin Acoustics provides
an intuitive web app
built into all Origin PRO
Amplifi ers for easy system
setup and customization by
delivering DSP confi guration
options and tuning features,
including multizone confi guration,
input mixing, priority
and ducking, restriction, input
and output EQ, S/PDIF
output routing, high-pass
fi lter, speaker presets, delay,
Sine generator, and more.
The amplifi ers also off er
custom-made drivers for the
most widely specifi ed control
and automation system
brands, including Control4,
RTI, Symmetrix, QSC, AMX,
Crestron, and Nice.
Meanwhile, Origin also
recently announced it is
expanding and upgrading
the acoustic technology
features of its Ambisonic
Bollard landscape speakers
by including ribbon tweeters,
adding another size of
speakers, and releasing new
hexagonal designs.
The company says the
Ambisonic Bollard landscape
speakers are designed for
both residential and commercial
environments.
According to Las Vegas-based
Origin Acoustics,
all Ambisonic Bollard
landscape speakers will now
feature high-performance
Ambisonic round planar
magnetic ribbon tweeter
technology.
The company is also
adding a new medium-sized
solution to the Ambisonic
Bollard landscape lineup.
The Bollard 85 speaker now
joins the Bollard 106 and
Bollard 64 models.
