Magnetar Audio is supporting
physical media with the
introduction of the UPD800
and UPD900 disc Blu-ray disc
players. The players feature
advanced imaging decoding
and processing, including 4K
upscaling of low-resolution
media; 4K Ultra HD; and HDR
support for Dolby Vision and
HDR10+. The models support
surround sound and immersive
audio formats such as Dolby
TrueHD, DTS-HD Master
Audio, Dolby Atmos and DTS:X.
CINEMA 30
The popular home AV company Marantz recently
announced its CINEMA 30 AVR. It is available in
silver or black fi nishes, and the CINEMA 30 utilizes
the latest iteration of its porthole display surrounded
by Marantz's industrial design concepts. In total,
the Masimo brand's AVR provides 11 channels
of amplifi cation, and the capabilities to provide
13.4-channels of processing via a selectable preamp
mode that supports an outboard amplifi er.

Monitor Audio has introduced
its Platinum In-Wall 3G
Loudspeaker. For use in a
number of applications including
immersive audio, the Platinum
In-Wall 3G Loudspeaker
incorporates Monitor Audio's
dual 6.5-inch low-frequency
woofers, along a single 4-inch
midrange driver, and its MPD III
Transducer.

Digital Projection is pushing
the boundaries of its
E-Vision product line with
the introduction of one
of its most advanced laser
projectors to date: the
E-Vision 10000i WU. New
features for the E-Vision
10000i WU include Source
Redundancy, Brightness Sync,
and Auto White Balance
Correction, complementing
an impressive 9,600 lumens
of brightness and 20,000:1
dynamic contrast, all on a
single-chip DLP projector.

MSE Audio brand PhaseTech is launching a new line of customlength
and color Variable Length Soundbars (VLS) designed to
be paired with for TVs up to 100 inches. The VLS70-LCR for TVs
60 to 70 inches and VLS100-LCR for TVs 75 to 100 inches are
made-to-order, three-channel acoustically superb soundbars designed to serve as left,
center and right speakers using three sperate speakers in a complete surround system.
JBL Synthesis has updated
its powerful SDP-75 AV
preamplifi er for 2024 with
a new HDMI 2.0 input
board and new audio DACs.
Additionally, the SDP-75 AV
is getting an updated power supply and motherboard
to enable faster switching capabilities and improved
overall performance. According to HARMAN, the
new HDMI board will off er additional input and
eARC capabilities.
