Danish audio manufacturer M&K Sound's IW150A Architectural
Loudspeaker features a 15-degree fixed angle
tweeter, along with a 5.7-degree fixed angle pair of midrange
drivers. The speaker can be used as an in-ceiling or
in-wall solution for applications that includes immersive
audio as a height or surround channel loudspeaker in a
Dolby Atmos or DTS:X
setup. Supporting a

The new Griffyn
Series 4K35-RGB
pure laser projector
from Christie Digital is a 3DLP projector rated to produce
up to 36,500 lumens in a form factor that weighs 179
pounds. Christie states that its new Griffyn Series projector
can be used for resimercial/commercial applications
such as live events, projection
mapping, theme
parks and large-scale
venues. The model can
produce more than 98% of
the wide color gamut Rec.
2020 standard, according
to the company.
As part of its sustainability initiatives,
Sony has addressed some
transportation-related issues with
its BRAVIA products. The big displays are now packaged
differently to reduce approximately 35% of the plastics
used to protect products for packaging. Sony says it has
reduced the size of its
packaging by 15% and
the weight by 10%. This
enables more BRAVIA
displays to be placed on
a pallet, which in turn reduces
CO2 emissions from
product transportation by
about 15%.
For the first time since research firm Parks
Associates began tracking leading overthe-top
(OTT) video services in 2019,
Amazon Prime has earned the No. 1 position in the
competitive market, topping Netflix for the first time.
Parks reports that 83% of broadband households have at
least one OTT service, with 23% adopting nine or more
OTT subscriptions.
Hulu, Disney+ and
HBO Max round out
the top five for 2022,
and Peacock cracked
the top 10.
