Leveraging partner Juniper Mist
technology developed for integrators,
Smart Network is said to optimize users'
and installers' experiences, and delivers
reliable Wi-Fi infrastructure with realtime

SAVANT CONTINUES to
extend its reach throughout
the modern smart home.
The company recently
introduced its Savant Smart
Network, leveraging Juniper
Mist Wi-Fi technology designed
specifically for smart
home integrators. Savant
touts it as the only wireless
network solution that
is able to learn over time,
optimizing the network
experience for users.
Savant also notes the
network comes with a more
efficient deployment and
service model for integrators.
The introduction of the
Smart Network follows
major moves by Savant in
recent years that include
the launch of Savant Power;
a partnership with Sunnova
on intelligent power and
Energy-as-a-Service capabilities;
the introduction of
Savant Essentials Software-as-a-Service,
electric

vehicle charging; integration
with leading battery
storage providers; new
Cync downlights and more
circadian capabilities from
its GE Lighting brand; smart
thermostats, outdoor video
cameras and more lights as
part of the Cync ecosystem;
several industry vendor
partnerships; and more.
In speaking with CE
Pro, Aaron Gutin, product
category director of Savant,
clarified that the Smart
Network uses artificial intelligence
(AI) and cloud-based
analytics to create data
models of each smart home
environment. It then establishes
benchmarks for expected
performance, which
enables it to quickly identify
and resolve any anomalies
when they appear.

Savant stresses the
privacy and security aspects
of the network, stating that
while it does access the
cloud to leverage Juniper's
AI capabilities, no user data
is captured or stored there.
A direct integration with
Juniper's Mist AI provides
Savant dealers with exceptional
visibility into the user
experience through customizable
Service Level Expectation
(SLE) metrics, which
are now accessible in Savant
Central Management. This,
Savant notes, should allow
integrators to dramatically
simplify deployment of even
the most complex wireless
networks.
The analytical tools
provided by the network
generate root cause analysis
and real-time user metrics,
enabling integrators to deliver
faster customer service
to their clients, the company
suggests.
