Lighting into the project early from a design standpoint.
Given all surfaces are covered in luxurious wood,
the canvas was ideal for the possibilities of warm-dim
fi xtures. Environmental Lights was brought in to
handle all of the various linear lighting features, and
mini-Neon.
For its minimal square footage, this Treehouse has a
whopping 30 Lutron lighting circuits and 56 individual
light fi xtures. Guests can use Lutron keypads where
beautifully programmed scenes bring this unique
space to life, and the lighting allows it to change its
skin like a chameleon. The Lutron system also controls
its QS motorized shades plus tensioned skylight
shades, nine in total.
Other features of this Specialty Project winner include:
full bathroom with shower and bidet toilet; 55-inch
Sony OLED TV with HD DirecTV; two pairs of Sonance
8-inch speakers plus a Sonance Subwoofer for killer
sound; small kitchen with cooktop, fridge, microwave
and Keurig; realistic digital fi replace; fully heated and
insulated; six skylights for viewing the stars at night;
and Lutron-controlled realistic candles in all rooms that
turn on/off with for ambience.
And if that wasn't enough lighting, the property itself
has another 57 landscape lighting fi xtures - even lights
IN the river itself to light up the water.

AVI complemented the
AV with FX Luminaire
Outdoor audio was integrated with Coastal Source 3-way
bollards surrounding the space. The in/above ground
full-range speaker with an 8-inch subwoofer, provides
contemporary style for the exterior space, says Audio Video
Intelligence's Cassidy Hancock.
At the cabana bar, a Samsung Terrace weatherproof
outdoor TV is integrated with weatherproof Origin
Acoustics speakers.
