Acoustics Collaborate
on Audio Offerings
Partnership leads to development
of architectural and landscape
loudspeakers; Crestron also unveils new
distribution amplifier and streaming

CRESTRON ELECTRONICS
has announced a line of inwall, in-ceiling, and landscape
speakers developed through
a partnership with Origin
Acoustics.
Moreover, Crestron has
also announced a new DM
NAX matrix/amplifier and
streaming music player for
high-performance audioover-IP and native integration with Crestron Home.

architectural and landscape
speakers and high-performance audio distribution

across project sizes to deliver
an unmatched home entertainment experience, " says

Crestron's new line of IP
speakers made by Origin

Acoustics falls within two
performance tiers: Reference
and Ultimate.
Speakers from the baseline Reference tier include
in-ceiling, in-wall, and
landscape models, and they
feature Origin's silk tweeters.
The luxury Ultimate
products include in-ceiling,
in-wall, marine-grade, and
landscape models that are
designed to offer users the
best available performance.
The Ultimate series features
carbon-fiber components
and ceramic-coated aluminum tweeters that optimize
sound accuracy.
Nick Berry, CEO of Origin
Acoustics, points out the
new IP speakers are made
with premium components
to support the output and
resolution capabilities of the
DM NAX amplifier.

that the Crestron architectural speaker line and the
partnership unlock for us as

The speakers come in Reference and Ultimate performance
tiers notes Crestron, which has also introduced new DM
NAX matrix/amplifier and streaming player products.

He notes the new alliance
combines Origin's heritage
in audio and its leadership in
innovative and labor-saving
loudspeaker design with
Crestron's ingenuity and
technological innovation in
whole-house automation.
Meanwhile, Crestron
engineered its new DM NAX
matrix/amplifier to fill a gap
in the market that the company identified.
The companion streaming product provides native
music streaming capabilities from popular services.
Through its Crestron Home
integration options, Crestron
emphasizes that homeown-

ers will gain full visibility and
control of their home audio
from mobile devices, touchscreens, remotes, keypads,
and voice-activated devices.
It's an understatement to
say Clancy is looking forward
to the availability and implementation of the new IP
speakers and DM NAX matrix
amp and streaming product.

associated with Crestron,
I've never been more excited

I can't wait to get these
products into customers'
hands, " adds Clancy.

Speakers made by Origin
Acoustics were scheduled
to ship in April, while the
Crestron DM NAX line will
ship in early June.
