The integrator created two unique scenes - Pool Day and
Pool Night - to activate the lush outdoor space. Pool
Day powers on the speakers in the terrace and ambient
speakers near the pool. Pool Night turns on some jazz music
and the pool lights using an Aqualink subsystem, Garcia
notes. In addition to music, Hemag brought video distribution
to the pool area with an inflatable screen, projector
and sources such as Roku routed via a local HDMI outlet
box. Audio is streamed seamlessly through the pool and
terrace speakers so people can watch and listen from both
spots. Plus, the system allows the homeowner to " mirror "
content from the gazebo to the terrace at the click of a
button, Garcia adds. Voice control support via Amazon Alexa
allows family members and guests to trigger elements
from entertainment selection to lighting levels to front
gate activation and more.

Home Theater Build
Hemag programmed an HSIM module so the system can be
monitored and controlled for security, even when the owners
are away. Depending on the day, the house reacts and
welcomes the owners with messages like " Good afternoon,
sir, " which they can accept or deny and ensure secure access.
Temperature control is assisted by the Somfy RTS shades
controlled via the URC interfaces. " We can program these
systems using platforms like Bond, Rachio and even Somfy
to bring them all together in one centralized app, " Garcia
notes. " The homeowner was so happy with the system, they
called us back to complete this starry night home theater. "
Indeed, Hemag returned to outfit a dazzling cinema complete
with 120-inch EPV screen, JVC 4K projector, Onkyo AVR
feeding ELAC speakers in 7.2.2 Dolby Atmos surround sound,
Kaleidescape Strato S player, Lutron lighting and StellarSky
fiber-optic ceiling panels.
