Outdoor lighting and audio specialist Coastal Source
has been celebrating its 15th anniversary this year
and touting its new EVO line. At the launch back in
February, the company asserted that the solid brass
EVO module is more powerful, brighter [than previous
products], has a wider beam angle, and better optics
than lamps and modules that are much larger. In
addition, the brass housing is a replaceable module.

for DMX control to analog
lighting fi xtures that can
control up to 300 watts
of electronic low-voltage
dimmable lighting. ELV units
are designed to work with
fi xtures that use electronic
transformers and employ
pulse-width modulation to
control power delivered to
the light fi xture for smoother,
more precise dimming.
The Home Technology Association (HTA) recently updated its Budget
Calculator to include architectural lighting fi xtures thanks to the
expert input of industry professionals Patrick Laidlaw of AiSPiRE/WAC,
Mike Libman of DMF, and David Warfel of Light Can Help You. To assist
integrators and designers looking to enhance their lighting knowledge, HTA also
identifi ed 18 key lighting terms for its online glossary.
Tivoli Lighting is bringing
to market its new
Vast Grazer Static and
Vast Grazer Palette product lines. The
company states that its latest products
provide integrators with dual-dimming
systems for both ELV and 0-10 volt
built in and fl exible connectors to
accommodate up to 30-degree curves
for maximum control of architectural
lighting in commercial, hospitality,
museum, municipal, school, and university
applications.
