Metra Home Theater Group Rebrands as MetraAV
to Include Commercial AV Products
METRA HOME THEATER
Group is updating its company name to MetraAV as
part of a brand overhaul to
" accommodate its expansion
into commercial integration
products, " according to the
group announcenment.
MetraAV's new tagline will
be " The Integrator's Choice. "
" We're known as a manufacturer that specializes in premium home theater and residential surveillance products, " said
GM Jessy Crabb in the MetraAV
announcement.
" Since a great number of
our products are designed and
engineered at a pro-level, it
also makes them versatile and
suitable for the requirements
of commercial environments.

projects over the past year and
the industry itself is shifting,

Sutton recently told CI about
how many AV integrators are
walking both sides of the resimercial line, with work both in
homes and commercial spaces.

AV Stumpfl
GmbH recently
appointed two
executive
Niederwimmer
directors as part
of restructuring measures
aimed at maximizing the
company's management
efficiency.
In her new role as executive
director, Stefanie Niederwimmer will be responsible
for projection screens, with her
colleague Christine Doppelmair taking over her former
position as head of sales -
screens.
Niederwimmer has been
with AV Stumpfl since 2004

and has held a number of
different positions of strategic
importance during that time.

The MetraAV commercial
catalog consists of HDMI
electronics, including repair
tools, extenders, splitters and
switches, along with converters, IR kits, HDMI cables, audio
cables, patch cables, RCA
cables, power cables, bulk
wire, and structured wiring
accessories.
Adapters and other installation accessories like banana
plugs, connectors and terminations, keystone inserts, and
fiber tools are also shown in the
commercial catalog, with plans
for further expansion this year.
MetraAV also manufactures
a wide range of TV mounts,
used for both residential and
commercial installations.
MetraAV will begin the new
brand rollout with an updated
logo and will launch a new
website, MetraAV.com, in the
spring.

PEOPLE + PLACES
Symetrix
announced
Scott Gellner
has joined the
Gellner
company as
Product Development Program
Manager. In this role, he will be
guiding the development and
implementation of new program
initiatives working with both
program and project teams.
Gellner joins Symetrix with
more than 20 years of project
management and product
development experience in
managing complex projects with
cross-functional teams, including
foyr years as a program manager
for LOUD Technologies.

Harry Gladow,
formerly a global
business
development
Gladow
manager, will
become the new executive
director for the company's
media server department.
Gladow joined AV Stumpfl in
2017 and was tasked with
growing the global distribution network.

SnapAV recently
announced the
appointment of
Sean Halloran to
Halloran
security business
development manager in the
western U.S.
In 2019, Halloran joined
Control4 as an area sales
manager with over 30 years
of previous leadership and
management experience
at companies like Guardian
Protection Services, Inc,
Protection One, Brinks Home
Security and ADT Security
Services, among others.
