Q-SYS Promotes Patrick Heyn to
Vice President of Marketing, Q-SYS Americas
Heyn
Costa Mesa, Calif.-based Q-SYS has promoted
Patrick Heyn to vice president of marketing, Q-SYS
Americas. In this role, Heyn will continue to lead the
product and platform marketing team and training
department for the Americas, while continuing to
support and collaborate with Q-SYS marketing teams in all regions.
" Patrick led the charter effort to redefine the training experience
in our industry with a distinctly different focus on engaging, memorable
human learning experiences, resulting in the Q-SYS Training
Series, " Chris Humphrey, senior vice president, marketing, Q-SYS,
says. " He later applied a similar experiential approach in marketing
to the Q-SYS audio, video and control platform. "
Humphrey continues, " Just recently, [Heyn] designed a state-ofthe-art
Q-SYS production and remote training studio and debuted
it to thousands of customers and partners during a recent global
launch event, ushering in a new standard for customer and partner
messaging. "
According to Heyn, " The technological narrative of the Q-SYS
Platform has always been unapologetic in its decision to stand
out in a crowd, and I'm thrilled to infuse that same mindset in our
storytelling efforts in marketing and training. " He adds, " I look
forward to continuing this momentum and building on the teams'
capabilities as we continue to showcase our ever-evolving Platform
and Ecosystem. "
Extron Founder Andrew Edwards
Establishes Three-Person C-Suite Leadership Team
Andrew Edwards, Extron's founder and
president, has established a new, three-person
C-suite leadership team. Edwards is
moving to the position of chairman of the
board of the Anaheim, Calif.-based company.
Simultaneously, he is promoting Brian Taraci
to CEO, Casey Hall to CMO and
Ed Ellingwood to CFO. Edwards describes these changes as
ensuring the company is solidly positioned to face future challenges
and reach the next level of growth.
The three executives have more than 80 years of combined
Extron experience. Indeed, they have been instrumental in helping
Extron to become the organization it is today.
Edwards expresses excitement about the opportunity to appoint
this new leadership team. He explains, " These three gentlemen
have spent years working directly with me, operating at the highest
level and handling every issue that's come our way. " Edwards
underlines all their combined efforts, in partnership with him. He
adds, " [W]e've created a company that has been an industry leader
for almost 40 years. These are the people I'm trusting to carry
Extron forward into the future. "
Taraci has been with Extron since 1994. Most recently, he served
as CTO. And, in fact, he will continue to fulfill that role in addition to

his new responsibilities as Extron's CEO. Taraci has a background in
semiconductor manufacturing. Indeed, he has worked as a process
engineer, device engineer and test engineer. At Extron, he has
played a central role in developing foundational technologies that
formed the basis for the company's line of scaling and control-systems
products.
Through the years, Taraci has led teams in developing critical
product lines. Those lines, of course, include Extron's CrossPoint
matrix switchers, XTP matrix switchers and the new NAV Pro
AV-over-IP products. Taraci's wealth of experience encompasses
product development, engineering, production and marketing
with a clear vision for the future of Extron.
Hall is another industry veteran, working in Extron's support
department for more than 26 years. Most recently, he served as vice
president of worldwide sales and marketing. As CMO, Hall will oversee
the business' sales, support and marketing efforts worldwide.
Ellingwood has led Extron's finance departments since 1993, including
his most recent role as vice president of finance. He has also
overseen the human resources department, providing guidance
and direction to the company's executives and leaders through the
years. Ellingwood's combination of skills and experience will help
Extron to navigate an ever-changing global economy.
Electrosonic Group Appoints
Morgan Rottinghaus as Global VP Partner Strategy
Rottinghaus
Orlando, Fla.-based Electrosonic Group has appointed
Morgan Rottinghaus as global vice president of
partner strategy. She will be responsible for growing
and expanding Electrosonic's strategic partnerships
globally, with a particular focus on the EMEA market.
Additionally, Rottinghaus will work to drive consistency and create a
competitive differentiator for technology experiential solutions in
the industry.
" I am very excited to have Morgan taking this new global position
at Electrosonic, " Ewan Smith, president and managing director,
declares. " Her experience and knowledge of the industry will be
invaluable as we continue to grow our business and expand our
reach globally. "
Rottinghaus has grown within the industry at Electrosonic,
boasting more than 15 years' experience in partner management,
strategy, creative technology solutions and business development.
Most recently, she served as the vice president of U.S. strategic
partners, focusing on growing the Design Consulting group for the
firm. She has held various leadership positions at Technomedia, and
she has served as a member of the TEA Board.
According to Rottinghaus, " I am excited to take this new global
role at Electrosonic and help continue to build strong relationships
with our partners beyond the U.S. " She adds, " I look forward to attracting
new partnerships and enhancing our existing relationships
with a greater and global footprint. "
Rottinghaus is a DEI advocate who has been mentoring colleagues
and young professionals on strategy, partnerships and
business development. One of her main passions is to empower
women within the organization and the industry.
