Prior to the pandemic, many of us might
have taken trade events for granted.
Now, however, we are acutely aware of
face-to-face experiences' power and value.

expositions generally, ISE 2023 achieved
30% more exhibitor space than last year's
show did.
Exhibitors
Longstanding fl agship exhibitors, including
Absen, Barco, Christie, Crestron,
Google, LG, Logitech, Samsung, Shure,
Sony and many more, showcased their
technologies at ISE 2023. Complementing
them were many new brands making
their successful ISE debuts.
Those showing their wares in Barcelona
brought innovative products and solutions
from across the commercial AV and
systems integration landscape -
everything from smart-home automation,
to communication and collaboration
tools, to transparent displays, e-paper
signage and audio innovations.
The thriving, 24,000-square-foot Congress
Square area was packed with innovations,
networking opportunities and
industry organizations, bringing a range
of diverse partners all together in one
commercialintegrator.com
place. Congress Square was home to the
Catalonian and Barcelona City Council
Pavilions, Discovery Zone, International
Media Showcase, and the Infl uencer and
Impact Lounges and networking space.
Integrators had the chance to learn
more about virtual studio soſt ware developer
Aximmetry; AVoIP, HDBaseT and
HDMI distribution device manufacturer
Netvio; electronic accessories manufacturer
Vanco; and Flylights LED Displays,
which off ers transparent LED displays,
among many other innovators.
Technology Zones
The seven technology zones provided integrators
with an effi cient means to search
and discover technologies within their
fi eld of interest. The seven tech zones were
as follows: Audio and Audio Demo Suites,
Content Creation and Content Production,
Digital Signage and DooH, Lighting and
Staging, Multi-Technology, Residential and
Smart Building, Unifi ed Communications
and Education Technology.
Newly added for the ISE 2023 show
was the Content Creation and Content

Its Commitment
to Diversity
When it came to diversity, equity
and inclusion at ISE 2023, visitors
saw a continued eff ort to broadly
represent various genders, races
and backgrounds across all the
conference stages. " Diversity is not
about signage at a show that says
we have an anti-harassment policy, "
Labuskes declares. " The inclusion
and reinforcement of the value of
diversity and equity is a way of life.
It's a way of doing business. It gives
us an opportunity to have a stage to
reinforce that messaging across the
days of the show. "
