Axis Communications Opens
Axis Experience Center in NYC
AXIS COMMUNICATIONS
has officially opened its new
Axis Experience Center (AEC)
in New York. The opening
occurred in conjunction with
ISC East. The AEC will provide
area business leaders, security
professionals and AV integrators
with direct access to network
solutions and dedicated
technology specialists.
Located in the borough of
Manhattan, the Axis Experience
Center is easily accessible via
public transit. It also offers
direct views of the Empire State
Building and St. Patrick's Cathedral.
It is the latest addition
to Axis' network of AECs across
the US and globally.
AECs are meant to foster
business relationships and technological
innovation, as well as
provide hands-on experience
with Axis IP-based solutions.
Larry Newman, senior
director of sales, Axis Communications,
described New York
as " a global hub of culture and
business. " Thus, he said, it's the
ideal location for the new AEC.

IMCCA Announces Industry Impact Award Winners
THE IMCCA has named this
year's Industry Impact Award
winners.
The association bestowed
awards in four categories:

Peripherals, and Collaboration
Platform New Features.
The expert judges included

PTZOptics has acquired Tally
Lights LLC, which provides
professional multi-camera
video-production devices to
indicate which camera is live.
According to the announcement,
TallyLights-the
brand's name going forward-provides
a flexible, affordable
tally-light system that
helps onscreen talent identify
which camera is live. It also
gives operators more control
over the brightness of the LED
lights that can be added to
any camera or monitor.
TallyLights devices can be
integrated with a wide range
of existing PTZOptics partners,
including NewTek, OBS,
vMix, Wirecast, Blackmagic
Design, Roland, JVC and NDI.
TallyLights also offers freestanding,
rack-mountable and
wireless controller options, as
well as adapters for multiple
TriCaster units.
In addition, according to
the company, customers can
connect up to eight camera
tally lights simultaneously and
configure them to work with a
majority of commercially available
switches and camera
control units.
