collaboration experiences. Consider using the funds traditionally
reserved for offsites to instead develop high-impact environments
in the office. In doing so, organizations invest in creating
optimal collaboration conditions for both in-person and remote
attendees, right from the comfort of their own building.

Historically, collaboration meant being in
the same physical space at the same time
as coworkers. Today, our " space " is often
virtual, and we have the technology to get
work done together, synchronously or asynchronously, regardless
of location or time zone. Collaboration is simply what happens
when you're working with others to get something done; it
no longer requires centralization of coworkers or resources. The
benefits are significant for all involved, saving time and money
while allowing us to break the outdated mentality of " being in the
office from 8am to 5pm. "

In recent years, my perspective on what
collaboration means has changed, as I
now run a company focused on providing
virtual care solutions for healthcare. Now,
I think collaboration means connecting patients and families
with caregivers no matter where they are - whether it's in an
ICU room or at their home. The urgency and reliability of seamless
collaboration sessions are critical to improving patient experiences.
While collaboration is important to keep businesses
operating and supporting a hybrid-work environment, it is even
more critical to saving lives and improving the patient outcomes
within healthcare settings.

today. Within higher ed, we use it for
