CTSI Acquires Systems Electronics,
Enhancing North Carolina Presence
CORBETT Technology
Solutions, Inc. (CTSI), has
announced that it has acquired
Systems Electronics, a communications,
safety and security
systems integrator providing
turnkey design, installation and
support across healthcare, education
and corporate clients.
Terms of the transaction remain
undisclosed.
Founded in 1970 and headquartered
in Knightdale, N.C.,
Systems Electronics helps
healthcare facilities improve
patient care and fi nancial
performance through clinical
workfl ow process improvement,
nurse-call integration,
resource tracking, reporting
and analytics. The company
also delivers fi re, security and
other systems integration solutions
across its customer base.
Meanwhile, CTSI, headquartered
in Chantilly, Va., designs,
engineers, installs, maintains
and manages highly engineered
fi re, security, nurse-call,
audiovisual, collaboration and
communication systems.
" While continuing to expand
our critical communications
and healthcare business,
Systems Electronics further
enhances our North Carolina
presence and extends our
Virginia support structure to
include the Tidewater and
western regions of the state, "

Systems Electronics represents
the eighth acquisition
for CTSI since partnering with
Wind Point in June 2020. CTSI's
acquisition strategy remains
focused on acquiring lifesafety,
fi re, security, nurse-call,
collaboration and communication
solution providers with a
complementary, employeefocused
culture and a strong
customer commitment.
Bundy Group, an investment
bank, acted as fi nancial advisor
to Systems Electronics in connection
with the transaction.
ISE 2022 Rescheduled to May Amid Winter Omicron Surge
SEVERAL WEEKS AGO, Integrated
Systems Europe (ISE)
announced that ISE 2022,
originally scheduled for Feb.
1 to 4 in Spain, has been
postponed for three months.
It will now take place May 10
to 13, still at the Fira de Barcelona
Gran Vía. ISE announced
the news after consultation
with the ISE exhibitor and
attendee community and in
the light of the increasing
impact of the omicron variant
in Q4/21 and Q1/22.
Mike Blackman, managing
director of Integrated Systems
Events, reveals more about
the postponement. He says,
" We've been closely monitoring
the conditions in Europe
and have been working hard
on your behalf to balance
commercialintegrator.com
health-and-safety concerns
with the need for commerce
and in-person interaction. It's
been a challenging time for so
many over the past two years,
and - whilst we cannot wait
to meet up with everyone
at ISE 2022 - listening to
our exhibitors, owners and
stakeholders, we have agreed
the best course of action is to
postpone the show edition for
three months. "
Blackman hopes that, by
postponing the event to the
spring, it will provide time for
the community to rebalance
and regain confi dence in
international travel and meetings.
He explains, " We will be
working closely with all our
exhibitors and stakeholders
to ensure a smooth transition
to the new dates. We look
forward to hosting the global
AV community at ISE 2022
in May in our new home in
Barcelona. "
David Labuskes, CEO of
AVIXA, adds that he looks forward
to a summer of AV with
ISE in May, InfoComm 2022 in
June and InfoComm Beijing in
July. He remarks, " It could not
be a better way to gather and
reinforce the opportunities
and success for our industry. "
Daryl Friedman, CEO of
CEDIA, adds these insights
on the postponement: " We
want to ensure ISE 2022 will
be a great success for visitors
and exhibitors alike, as it has
been for nearly two decades,

this move to May will ensure
