Derek Graham
ClearOne Appoints
Derek Graham as Permanent CEO
Salt Lake City-based ClearOne has
announced that its Board of Directors has
appointed Derek Graham as CEO, effective
January 24, 2023. Graham had been
appointed to the role of interim CEO in
May 2022, following the termination of
former CEO Zee Hakimoglu.
According to Eric Robinson, chairman
of the board of directors, " Derek has
provided strong and decisive leadership
in the last few months and navigated the
company through a particularly challenging
time. I am confident that Derek
will continue to guide ClearOne through
the next phase of growth. The Board
and I are delighted to appoint Derek as
ClearOne's CEO. "
Graham joined ClearOne in 2003 as a
lead engineer and rose through the ranks.
He has overseen the development and
introduction of multiple generations of
professionally installed audio and videoconferencing,
videostreaming, wireless
microphone, digital signage and camera
products. In addition, he has authored
13 patents, including many patents that
are critical to the company's success, says
ClearOne.

Marcus Wheelwright
Riedel Appoints
Marcus Wheelwright as
VP of Customer Success, Americas
Germany-based Riedel Communications
has announced that Marcus Wheelwright
will be vice president of customer success
for the Americas. In his new role, Wheelwright's
responsibilities will center on
managing customer-success operations
for the Americas. He will increase customer
satisfaction by creating frictionless
experiences for customers throughout
their journey with Riedel. These include
initial demos, training, delivery and postsales
support.

in the Americas. With his extensive
and impressive background in customer
success at other leading global companies,
Marcus offers a wealth of knowledge
and experience and is a fantastic fit for

will ensure the customer journey is
smooth and successful. "
A Decorated Career
Prior to joining Riedel, Wheelwright
served as the manager of support engineering
at AWS Elemental, an Amazon
Web Services company. During his tenure,
he built and led a technical team of
subject matter experts. They focused on
internal and external training, knowledge
content and tooling.
Wheelwright previously spent over 20
years at Grass Valley in various support
roles. These included senior technical
support engineer, manager customer
service, director global quality, and
director, Americas services and support.
His tenure culminated as vice president,
Americas services and support. He also
built and led the customer success, technical
support and professional services
teams of up to 100 personnel across
North and South America.

Wheelwright's pedigree heading up the
services department, " Bente adds. " I
anticipate smooth sailing ahead and great

supporting myself, our sales team and our
customers. "

Wheelwright will work from the west
coast, reporting directly to Thompson,
executive director of customer success.
Chris Johnson
Electrosonic Appoints
Chris Johnson as
Director of Strategic Partnerships
Electrosonic has announced the promotion
of Chris Johnson to director of
strategic partnerships. He will oversee
Electrosonic's growing partnerships with
its group of creative partners, including
architects, designers, exhibit fabricators
and media-content firms in the market.
With more than 25 years of experience
in the audiovisual industry, Johnson previously
worked in production, operations,
