RIDING THE WAVE OF
EQUALITY
WAVIT charts a course to move
the needle toward equity,
safety and representation in
the AV/IT landscape.

WOMEN EMPOWERMENT CAN BE DEFINED IN MANY WAYS; the list is endless.
However, there is nothing more inspiring and empowering than seeing women
supporting other women. And that is precisely what Women in AV/IT (WAVIT)
is trying to do. The organization, which was created for and by women, aims to
build a platform that supports and encourages women in the AV and IT industries.
First announced in January, WAVIT's focus areas include education, representation
and inclusion. In short, the organization is looking to create ripples that gradually
swell into waves, forging new paths for women in the world of technology.
But how, exactly, will WAVIT create those ripples? To answer that question,
